Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, and testing of hardware and software solutions, contributing to innovative projects that drive our business forward. This entry-level position is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with up to two years of experience in hardware design and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Design and Development: Assist in the development of embedded solutions, including hardware and software integration.
- Coding and Testing: Write software (typically in C, C++, or Python) for embedded systems and test code to ensure it meets functional requirements. Engage in comprehensive testing of hardware prototypes to ensure functionality, reliability, and adherence to quality standards.
- Debugging: Use debugging tools to identify and solve issues in embedded software and hardware.
- System Integration: Work with various system components (sensors, actuators, microcontrollers) to ensure proper integration and functionality.
- Collaborate on Design Projects: Work alongside senior engineers on prototyping and testing initiatives, contributing to the development of innovative design solutions.
- Maintain Documentation: Accurately document design processes, test results, and compliance measures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Participate in Technical Discussions: Actively contribute ideas for design improvements and innovative solutions during team discussions and brainstorming sessions.
- Vendor Connection: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality manufacturing processes and exceptional service delivery.
- Embrace Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies in hardware design to enhance personal and team capabilities continuously.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, M.Sc Electronics/ instrumentation science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Hardware System Design
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in hardware design or related fields is preferred
Technical Skills & Tools:
- Programming Languages: C, C++, Python, Assembly (depending on the specific embedded system),Raspberry Pi
- Embedded Development Tools: IDEs, compilers, and debuggers for embedded systems
- Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators.
- Communication Protocols: Understanding of communication protocols (BLE, BT, WIFI, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.).
- Version Control: Tools like Git for source code management.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot design and testing challenges.
